The weekend begins on Friday evening and finishes with lunch on Sunday.
Cost: Retreat fees for the weekend include all retreat sessions, accommodation and all meals (vegetarian). Costs are varied depending on your choice of accommodation as below:

Twin share rooms will have either a double bed or two single beds. Twin share will be with a member of the same sex unless you are sharing with a friend. Please contact us to advise your preference if you are booking with a friend.
Venue: The retreat will be held at Shalom House of Prayer in Carcoar, approximately 40 minutes south of Orange and Bathurst, and a four-hour drive from the Central Coast. The tranqil surrounds of Carcoar make this an ideal location to relax and rejuvenate.
The retreat begins with dinner on Friday and finishes with lunch on Sunday. During the retreat, there will be sessions of practical, inspiring teachings and guided meditations with Resident Teacher Kelsang Monlam, with be opportunities to ask questions.
During the breaks, you are free to explore the grounds of Shalom House of Prayer, or venture into the peaceful town of Carcoar. Or, simply relax and enjoy the tranqil environment.
All meals and refreshments are provided throughout the weekend.
After the last session of the evening until the end of the first session in the morning we will observe silence to allow you to take the teachings into your heart and increase your experience of deep inner peace.

The Teacher of this class is Resident Teacher Kelsang Monlam
Kelsang Monlam is the Resident Teacher of Khedrubje Kadampa Buddhist Centre. She is an Australian Buddhist Nun who has been studying and practicing Buddhism for 13 years.
Kelsang Monlam is well-loved for her deep and insightful wisdom, humour and example of pure Buddhist practice. She presents Buddha’s teachings in a light and practical manner, inspiring students to incorporate them into everyday life.
